The tortoises wish the eldest a happy 18th birthday today as they came downstairs on this fine sunny day to help us celebrate with their own version of a birthday pellet cake!
After such a dreary day yesterday, we didn’t have a chance to spend that long with them. They were peckish as I didn’t feed them yesterday as I’m worried they are gaining too much weight, Tortilla feels so heavy as his heavy shell weighs him down. This is detrimental to tortoises so I am being more considerate with their feeding regime, and feeding them less.
Anyway, back to the birthday boy Lucas as the tortoises wish him a happy 18th birthday from the tortoise two Tortilla and Gamera!
