Gamera is finally catching up 🤩🤩WEIGH IN TIME!

Updated: Sep 6, 2019

Gammy-boo-bear (the youngest will SHOOT me down for referring to him as that but luckily for me he doesn’t read the blog😅) .... anyway Gam-gam bear has been weighed and he’s still smaller than Tortilla, but definitely growing and has put on so much weight finally!

I know why Tortilla GROWS so much - he certainly appears to EAT so much more than Gamera, as Gammy will take one piece of food as Tortilla takes 3 pieces of whatever is offered, like scoffing down the kale n carrot mix, or he loves the tortoise pellets too, whilst still enjoying a dandelion or two!

It shows and his weight is now 191g -Tortilla you beast🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.

On the other hand Gamera is now 131g -whoa getting there big guy Gammy tortoise🐢🐢🐢🐢🤩🤩🤩🤩.

To change the subject, I have noticed that Tortilla has become abit of an extrovert as he’s getting older (btw, I think they will be ONE year old soon as we’ve had them for 4 months now and they were 7.5 months when we got them ... 😆! Yes party time). So, over the months, he‘s been poking his neck out more and more as if he wants it to stretch above the parapet of his house and just like a giraffe reaching for the tallest leaves, he‘ll stretch his neck really high. I think he remembers what is outside his wooden house as he’s experienced it before and is becoming more confident (Tortilla was the shy one at first) and when he hears my voice he wakes up immediately and then has a look around for me (ok and maybe for food 😂).

How clever and cute!

Please don’t worry I disinfect the scales every time☺️ Tortoises claws are a breeding ground for bacteria ewwww, noted, but look how well clipped they are, refer to my other post fyi.

🐢🐢🐢🐢🤩🤩🤩🤩🐢🐢🐢🐢🤩🤩🤩😅
